Our policy regarding copyright infringement claims

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy

rtScript respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our services to do the same. We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law and are properly provided to us.

Copyright Infringement Notification

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent. To be effective, the counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
